Members-Only Meeting

WEDC Members are invited to join us for our monthly WEDC luncheon! This month's meeting is titled, “WEDC Speed Networking: Building Member Connections” and will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.

Note: This is a Member-Only meeting. This month, Guests are welcome to join WEDC at the annual "Women Honoring Women Gala" on September 18th at the VBC North Hall.

What is speed networking? 

This is a structured event that will allow WEDC members to have brief, one-on-one conversations with multiple members over a short period of time.

How does speed networking work?

Members will be seated at tables and have a set amount of time to introduce themselves and talk with another member across from them. When the time is up, a bell or buzzer sounds, and members move to the next chair. The process continues until everyone has had a chance to meet and speak with each other.

Why should you attend? 

This is an opportunity to engage WEDC members whom you’ve not previously had a chance and possibly establish ongoing personal and/or professional relationships. You’ll also get to practice your elevator spiel in an environment that is supportive and encouraging.

What should you bring? Bring lots of business cards!
